For nearly 2 years, I’ve been living and breathing rage rooms. I have learned what mistakes NOT to make, the most efficient business operations, and everything YOU need to know before starting. I’ve spent thousands of hours of trial and error as well as thousands of dollars optimizing my own rage room. All of this acquired knowledge will now be available to you, for a fraction of what I’ve paid to get where I am now.
Starting a business was always something that fascinated me growing up. My father owns a machine shop with his brother. I’d been around entrepreneurs and business owners since I was born. But it took some years for me to take a serious interest. At age 20, I’d decided to try and start something from scratch. Do things my own way. Bring my thoughts to life. Have my input directly produce an output.
There were some small side gigs I’d tried. Selling gaming items on ebay, building custom fishing rods, and even testing my luck as a professional poker player. All endeavors where I was running the show. But nothing serious. Then, in January 2018, a friend showed me a video of people breaking stuff online. He suggested that I look into these “rage rooms” as a potential business idea. I thought it was the most foolish thing I’d ever seen. There was no way people would pay money to just break things. It’s not possible that kind of thing is a legitimate business that makes money. Is it?
After some convincing, I agreed to join my friend in starting this venture. We started out just doing some little things here and there. Going to garage and estate sales. Doing research and meeting in person. Nothing was too serious early-on. As time went passed, I got more serious with the idea of starting a local rage room. I even started to enjoy it. While I was gaining interest, my partner was losing it. We decided to split before making any real financial or life committing decisions.
What Our Students Have to Say
Wondering how I welcome over 500 different guests per month?!
Or how I averaged 20-25K per month in revenue this past fall + winter?
Learn the ins and outs of launching your own rage room from concept to opening day (and beyond!) with my signature Smash Solutions Masterclass
As my rage room neared celebrating 1 year of being open, business was growing to an almost out of control level. More employees were hired, duplicate cleaning/moving tools purchased, extra storage was bought. I had to get a larger dumpster and faster internet. My suppliers were absolutely maxed out of what they could give me. I started to accept bookings 7 days a week and increased my available hours. I couldn’t even supply my rage room faster than people were breaking the stuff. This rage room business had grown to heights I’d never thought possible.
Monthly revenue was around $20,000-$25,000 per month during our second year in fall, winter, and part of spring. I was getting hundreds of bookings and over 750 unique customers a month. Over 3,000 pounds of electronics were smashed each week! Along with thousands of pieces of glass. I’d never heard of another rage room in the world with these kinds of numbers. Unfortunately, a projected 6 figure profit in just our 2nd year open was derailed by world health concerns.
You’re not gambling, you’re investing in your future.
It can be a leap of faith to buy learning material online from someone who isn’t a well known, household name. Although I’ve only started one rage room myself, I have knowledge of the rage room industry that I believe very few have. Experiencing success that is unheard with this type of business. I’ve given advice to aspiring rage room owners on their journey. Some of which are successfully operating. And I recognize what mistakes I made in my personal experience opening a rage room. I know the pain points and challenges involved starting one of these things. And how to work through them. The How To Start a Rage Room course is a product of all of my experience and commitment in the industry of rage rooms.
